Affiliate Membership Discount

Terms of reference: Affiliate Membership

The IATDMCT is unique in its goal to promote the interest of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring and Clinical Toxicology internationally. It collaborates with a selected group of affiliated scientific societies that share its aims particularly on a national level. This synergistic relationship provides a platform for open collaboration and exchange of knowledge and experiences.

Members of affiliated societies may join IATDMCT and enjoy the full function of IATDMCT membership benefits. Their IATDMCT dues will be reduced by USD $20 based on the FULL Membership or YOUNG SCIENTIST Membership fees of IATDMCT. The IATDMCT benefit of a 10% saving on the fee for a two-year membership remains unaffected. The $20/year discount will apply on top of it.

Eligible for this membership category are members of scientific societies with which a respective agreement is in place (list of affiliated scientific societies coming up soon). Depending on this agreement additional benefits (e.g. reduction of the dues for the affiliated scientific society) may be available. For further information check with your society.

Dear members,

I hope that you are continuing to stay safe and healthy during this difficult time. We have all had extremely unusual experiences and sudden changes in our daily life and working/studying circumstances due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At the same time, I sincerely thank all medical and laboratory professionals for their devoted efforts to fight the virus and care patients.

Even in this challenging situation, I am pleased to see our IATDMCT colleagues demonstrate their expertise to contribute to medical service and public health. For example, the Immunosuppressive Drugs Committee has published a timely article in our TDM journal to alert clinicians on potential drug interactions with experimental COVID-19 treatments in transplant recipients. As discipline of TDM and CT, every member can do something, even small thing to support people. Please use your knowledge, skills and accumulated experiences.

While it will be some time until the world returns to a more normal status, IATDMCT continues to support members. Although the Banff Congress this September was forced to cancel sadly due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I look forward to near future when we can meet together discussing science and exchanging activities.
